A series of instinctually carved trays made from Scandinavian pine offcuts. Each tray is cut to shape then hand gouged to achieve the dish and profiled edge. The concept is an exploration in using texture to create functional geometry and tactility. Each piece informs the next, making these objects feel like quick iterative sketches in wood.
