Tabatha Pearce Chedier (1995) is a Brazilian-British Designer based in the UK, working across product and furniture. She earned her degree in Product and Furniture Design from Kingston School of Art in 2020. Within her work, she delves into her dual heritage and cultural ties, employing a charismatic, process oriented approach. Tabatha draws inspiration from a diverse mix of traditions, demonstrating a consideration of materials and manufacturing in her exploration of ideas. In 2024, she was nominated for the Design Museum’s Ralph Saltzman Prize by Jasper Morrison. Tabatha is an independent designer, whilst also being a contributing member of the Design Everything team.

The Loop book and record stand is the latest addition to the Loop collection, crafted using the same production methods. This collection emerged from an exploration of mild steel flat bar, through an experimentation of a variety of techniques, which revealed the material’s inherent strengths, weaknesses, and creative potential.
Designed to be used as both a record and book stand, it can accommodate up to 15 records or a few books.

The Quadrant Stool
‘The Quadrant Stool’ takes its form from traditional quadrant wall mouldings. Four equal sections are joined to create a complete circle, with the components held together by a single felt sheet, which acts as both a structural element and a visual contrast.
‘The Quadrant Stool’ is the beginning of a series that explores the functions and possibilities of quadrant sections, with its initial exploration using felt as a binding method.
