Inflate Stool
The ‘Inflate Stool’ continues Matheou’s exploration of repurposing inner tubes in furniture design. She’s designed a lightweight steel frame that uses an inflated inner tube to form the seat. As the tube expands within the frame, it takes on an organic, unexpected shape. This balance between control and freedom gives the seat a sculptural quality while keeping it practical, simple, and functional.
