Framework Table & Chair
As an industrial designer, when working without a manufacturing partner, I face certain practical challenges. Developing project-specific components through processes such as die casting or custom aluminium extrusion is often unfeasible. With the Framework series, I deliberately sidestep this limitation. Rather than relying on industrial processes to produce bespoke components, I established the structural foundation using an off-the-shelf aluminium equal-angle extrusion, redirecting the design effort toward the assembly, adaptation, and application of readily available materials.

Crimp Stool
‘Crimp Stool’ brings together 3 forms of aluminium (tube, rod, sheet) without welding or mech-anical fixings. The tubular legs are pressed around bent rods to lock them in place. The rods provide the triangular frame, which the upper surface of perforated aluminium sheet presses onto.
