David Chen (b. Dallas, 2002) is an emerging product designer and creative technologist based in London. Having recently completed a Master's in Design Engineering at Imperial College, he is establishing a strong interdisciplinary practice which explores the intersection between DJ culture and design engineering.

Listening station wall unit with an integrated Technics, 1210 MK2 turntable and headphone amplifier, shelving module, and BPM (beats per minute) analyser.
The shelving and turntable containment was hand-bent from 0.9mm and 1.2mm stainless steel respectively. The turntable containment was built around the dimensions of a Technics 1210 MK2. The aluminium faceplate of the Technics 1210 MK2 was hand-brushed, removing all original decals.
