Moe Redish Furniture & Objects celebrates contemporary craft, combining playful material exploration with exemplary woodwork. Designed and hand-crafted in the South Downs National Park, on the outskirts of Brighton, collections range from smaller objects to fitted furniture, all made using solid timbers such as oak, ash, sycamore and cherry. When he's not in the workshop, Moe can often be found wielding a chainsaw in the woods, harvesting material at source, or championing a more inclusive design industry by helping to elevate voices from lower socio-economic backgrounds within art and design.
Patch Coffee Table & Collages
Beginning in 2022, the Patch collection emerged from another project that left behind timber offcuts too good to throw away. Unable to afford solid timber boards, I rescued these pieces from the firewood bin and meticulously pieced them back together, creating new boards in what has since become the recognisable patchwork style that defines the collection.
What started as a financial limitation evolved into an ongoing body of work. Today, the Patch collection encompasses more than 10 products, projects and commissions, and has become a defining part of my practice.
