‘Last September, six young London furniture designers hosted an exhibition in the back of a van. Driving around the city and stopping at different locations, they invited visitors inside to see stacks of chairs designed by them and their peers, pulling out some to the street for passers-by to sit on. This year, that same group — known as Design Everything — is attempting something equally ambitious: in the basement of a furniture shop in the West End, it is creating a fictional London flat filled with domestic objects crafted by 101 emerging designers.’
