I am a designer and artist working at the intersection of objects, furniture, and material exploration.I work primarily with natural materials, using traditional techniques and direct engagement to explore their material qualities. I am interested in how processes rooted in craft can be carried forward, adapted, and given new meaning in a contemporary context. Each project is a study in form, texture, and place, with an emphasis on how materials hold memory and narrative.
Born in California, raised in Mexico, and having lived in France, London, and Australia, I bring a global perspective to my work with a deep respect for material histories. I graduated with a BA in Product and Furniture Design from the University of the Arts London, and since then I have been developing a studio practice that bridges the collectible and the functional, the sculptural and the handmade. My work often moves between one-off pieces and small series, with a focus on celebrating natural variation, imperfection, and the dialogue between maker and material.
