Born and raised in gloucestershire, uk, joe developed his passions in industrial design, art and making by working at various design consultancies in London and california including native, whipsaw and pdd innovation. in 2018 he co-founded design burger, an industrial design platform and community that curates the best products from around the world. during his time in industry and through design burger, he has had the pleasure to work with a collection of world renowned brands such as hp, bowers and wilkins, samsung, nestle and many more. his experimental and process driven way of working has attracted international attention since graduating with a first class honours degree from loughborough university, earning him a red dot award 2024, new designers excellence in breakthrough design award and shortlisted for the braunprize and if design talent award. more recently, alongside the fellow design burger founders he has co-curated sell-out exhibitions and events in san francisco, shanghai, paris, london and milan design week.
